Happy Father's Day to all the lovely, hard-working, kick-ass father's out there (ahem...especially, my Dad)!

This is my all-time fave pic of my dad with seester and I and our old black lab, Jakie boy. 

Ahhh...memories.

The pups even look up to my dad...especially, when he has any sort of food in his hand!

Making this cake for Father's Day was the best freaking idea I have had yet!

This was my courtyard view as I enjoyed brunch at one of my favorite Houston coffee spots.

I had the breakfast salad with fresh greens, sauteed shrooms', quinoa, and scrambled egg whites, with a cactus-pear vinaigrette...

this was the real deal brunch meal.

Of course I couldn't pass up my all-time fave...double shot of espresso.

What's up Throwback Thursday! Seester and I at our elementary school's Santa's Breakfast. 

Seester loved her some pancakes...I was more interested in taking pics with Santa and the jr. high cheerleaders, my role models!

You know things are going down in the kitchen when I have my hair in a pony and an apron on...that came out of nowhere!

Let's just say I channeled my inner Hispanic abuela and made enchiladas.
