Happy Easter all of my beautiful friends and family!

Look what the Easter Bunny left for me this morning.

Easter Bunny definitely knows how I roll...chocolate coconut water, GF chocolate pb cookies, Reese's PB Eggs, blueberry fig bar, dark chocolate bar with almonds and sea salt, oh, oh...and a Forever 21 gift card...that bunny is one genius! Oh, and a great mind reader!

I bought these flowers a week ago for my momma...they look like I just bought them yesterday

still blooming away!

Easter is a time to break out the bright colors...

 like purple toes

and mix-matched pink and green nails...so Easter, right?

Oh, oh...and cute high-waisted green shorts

and nautical shirts...why hello there sailor!

At least I feel like I can go sail a boat when I wear things with white and blue stripes. 

I feel like springtime has opened up a whole new world of fresh, healthy dishes

which, apparently have not done a good job at keeping me away from my #1 weakness.

It's all about balance

like you can have a bowl of frosting

and some Easter bunny cookies

oh, and maybe a piece or five...of homemade Biscoff Baklava.

 Yes, it's all about balance...and I like to balance my sweets.

I am a big fan of a perfect Americano...

 even if I only get to have it once a week...it puts me in a good mood.

Yesterday, seester and I hung out poolside...until 

 an annoying lady began yelling at her 3-year-old child to stop walking away from her, and come here (mind you, she was yelling at him as she sat in her lounge chair with an issue of People magazine, a cigarette in one hand, alcoholic beverage in the other)...I love responsible parents. 

Anyway, we took a mid-day walk to ease our minds

doesn't this fountain just scream tranquility and peacefulness?

Oh, yes!
